About
Source data
The data for Easthampton Flock Request Explorer came from public data requests under Massachusetts General Law chapter 66, section 10, from the Easthampton Police Department. The raw data is available below:
What Flock data is public?
- Full history of Easthampton's searches of Flock data
- Partial history of external organizations searching Flock data
- License plate, search filters, and officer names are redacted
- Names of organizations that currently have access to Easthampton's Flock data
- Names of organizations currently sharing Flock data with Easthampton
What Flock data is private?
In Massachusetts, law enforcement agencies do not release images or data that Flock captures. This could change in the future, as other states interpret the law differently. Washington state interprets all Flock data as subject to public records requests.
Police in other states have been releasing Flock images on a case-by-case basis.
